About Us

While our family has been farming for many generations, James Neal (Jimmy Neal) and Robbie Dale bought 218 acres of paradise right here on the Gulley Creek in 1960. And that’s where it all began for Jorden. 31 years before she was born.

James Neal and Robbie Dale milked cows, raised pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, tobacco, corn, and hay. Their only child, Michael worked many years building the genetics he wanted for his pigs. Michael purchased the 100-acre farm that attached to their home farm. Jimmy Neal and Michael leased land and farmed many things over the years, while always specializing in pigs. Jorden paid for her first 4-H camp at 8 years old with money she earned working in the tobacco field. She learned her work ethic from the farm seeing her mom and dad work so hard to keep getting by. She never imagined she would grow up to love the farm in the ways she did. When life surprised her and she found herself purchasing her grandfather’s portion at 18 years old, she still didn’t want to farm. She just knew that the farm couldn’t be sold. However, over the last decade, Jorden began farming full time and haven’t looked back. She has raised bottle baby calves, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, lamb, beef cattle, pigs, hay, corn, and garden vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Jorden has made her own recipe for the feed to ensure she feds the best of best to her animals. We have raised non-gmo corn before it was cool. We have always tried to utilize the best ways to fertilizer our crops and pastures with natural fertilizers. We never use steroids, and we do not vaccinate our livestock. We try to not over complicate the way we raise our animals.

“It is our responsibility to be good stewards of the land that was given to us for future generations to use.”
